My 93000, Mini v2, is connected to a 4K tv. In video setup I get no option for 1080p 60fps.

only 1080p pass through. When I select automatic, it selects 1080i for me.

Is this normal? Is my mini not capable of 1080p like my Roamio is?

Automatic is what your TV reports back through HDMI what it prefers. I have a Sony that report 1080i on TE3 and 1080P on TE4. An A93 Mini is capable of 1080p.

Note: that "pass-through" is only for streaming content. So I set 1080i and 1080p (pass through), then the TiVo unchecks Automatic. You can't just unselect Automatic. You can't select just "pass-through".

If there is no 1080p box, your TV is telling the TiVo that it doesn't support 1080p. If it does, try a different cable or port. There is no option on a TV that will help.

My tv does support 4K. It successfully displays 1080p and above content on another port with other devices.

I tried using the mini on that port (and same hdmi cable as the other device uses) and still it would only show as high as 1080i (and pass thru).

It’s not that my mini has 1080p but it’s greyed out and not selectable, it’s not even there.

I don’t use my mini for streaming (too slow) and I realize not tv content is 1080p but if my menu can be a little better, why not? ;)

Ah! Thank you! You saved me from ripping everything apart tonight lol

I had a lot of trouble finding that info anywhere, the specs of the minis are like a black hole online.

Even my original box and instruction poster didn’t have the info.
