I have a series 2 tivo and directtv. I also subscribe to Sunday Ticket. I have attempted to go into the channel list to show the nfl channels (lower 700 numbers) but they do not appear on my channel list of available channels. Does anyone know what's going on with this? It's only a week before the regular season starts.

I've had tivo for over 6 years and have never had to do that. The other subscription channels show on my channel list, baseball, soccer, college football etc. but there is a gap between channels 700 and 730 where the nfl usually is located. I don't believe guided setup will do anything. Normally the nfl channels would be on the channel list whether I subscribe or not.

I contacted both tivo and directtv without much success. Tivo went to the zap2it.com web site which shows channels. For the Orlando directtv it does not show the nfl channels 704-717. She told me that apparently they are not available in the Orlando directtv area. However, I have 3 dvrs in 3 different rooms. Both of the directtv dvrs show these channels in their guide. The tivo dvr does not show these channels. Of course in the channel list even though you don't subscribe to some of the premium sports packages those channels would show in your channel list when selecting channels to show in your guide.

I have a hd dish but only have 1 hd dvr and a hd tv. This doesn't seem to make much difference as the non hd dvr and tv in the kitchen shows these channels. I guess I'll just have to watch the nfl in the bedroom where the hd tv and dvr are located.

This is really strange. I talked to the tivo lady and she says that as far as she knows there have been no calls on this particular problem.

Are you also in the Orlando viewing area?

My brother just called me and told me he's having this problem as well. He's in Fairfield County in Connecticut. I think the problem is with the Zap2it guide data, which is not showing the NFL Sunday Ticket channels on the DirecTv channel lineup.

I went in and selected the channel guide for directtv on my tivo tv. I could access the nfl channels using the directtv guide and selected them to show on the directtv guide. However, they still did not show on the tivo guide.

I can't believe that zap2it.com can control the channel list that shows on tivo. How in the world did they get that power?

Also I can't understand how you can get a season pass on a channel that doesn't appear in your guide.

TiVo obtains their television listing data from Tribune Media Services. This same data is available through the Internet via the Zap2it web site.

This is why TiVo CSRs and other people first go to the Zap2it web site when investigating a TiVo lineup issue.

I have the same problem in Dallas, TX. The Sunday Ticket channels show up in DTV not Tivo.

I suggest going to the following link ( guess I can't post a link) and completing the missing channel form. It's worked for me in the past and it gets to the correct people immediately.

OK, go to tivo com
Setup and Support
Search for "missing channels"
Select:
3. Reporting Lineup Issues to TiVo

If they get enough of these requests they may speed up resolution.

Update via network yesterday morning added the channels, but no info on the games on those channels. Only two hour blocks describing the channel.

Based on a conversation I had with CSR for a similar guide issue with ESPN GamePlan listings, they have no intention of listing any games, and manual recordings will be needed to record games.

Same here. Hard to manually record when the block times are wrong to boot.

I didn't have this problem last year. I may have to revisit DTVs DVR at this rate as much as I hate to.

I am in new jersy and get the same listing in tivo. It just says NFL Sunday Ticket but does not show the teams so tivo does not know what teams are on what channel. I think this sucks! I have had to manually record every game so far.

They need to look at the teams not just the channels from zapit!
