Went out tonight to Best Buy and purchased me a S3 TIVO HD DVR. I have a couple of S2 DVRS but since I went to HD, I couldn't use one of them. Got home and hooked everything up. Powered up the DVR and got the splash screen say it was powering up, a couple of mins later the screen started turning green and pixulating (sp), then a min later the screen change to "almost there, a few minutes more..." then the screen went complete green and 5 mins later the screen froze on "almost there, a few minutes more..." after all that - all i get now is intermittent snow on the screen then black then snow

I powered it off then back on, now I get a flashing green light on the front panel and no picture.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Sounds like it got damaged in shipping. I would return it and swap it for another.
