30 second skip is not a standard button on any TIVO remote. Everytime your TIVO receives a new version of software, the system reverts to the standard button programming. The "Skip to End" button is used for 30 second skip.
While you are watching a previosly recorded program press the following sequence <PLAY><3><0> and the key is programmmed for 30 second skip.
