i recently noticed that i now have setanta sports on my tivo (channel 406). when i look at the channel lineup for online scheduling, i don't see channel 406.

also, it's not on my channel lineup on my tivo when i want to program something for manually recording. let me clarify....i can tell the tivo to specifically program something from channel 406 at a certain time (like programming a vcr) and it works but thats the only way i can record something from that channel. when i see something on my computer and want to schedule online i cant do it because the channel isnt listed.

how do i get tivo to add channel 406 to the list of available channels?

Check the Zap2It.com website to see if it is listed there for your zipcode and cable provider. If it is, you may need to re-run guided setup to select the cable lineup. If not, then contact Tribune and/or TiVo about the change.

i think i need to call tivo when i get home tonight since i'm not on cable (dish network). they will probably be able to fix it quickly.

Did you add it to your channel list by making sure that it is checked?

thats the thing....it's not there for me to check but i can got to the channel if i type in the numbers (406) manually.

(it's channel 406 on my Dish Network lineup)

I'd still check the Zap2It site to see if they know about that channel on Dish Net.

I don't know if it helped you or not but that site is where TiVo buys it's guide data so if your channel isn't listed there isn't anyway for TiVo to know about it. You should contact TiVo and tell them you have a new channel that isn't listed they will work with zap2it to get the info updated.
