After Mad Men season finale last night they showed an extended preview of a new show "Breaking Bad" premiering in January.

Wow, AMC may be the new HBO if this show is as good as the preview looked.

I will try to find the video preview.

Damn you! One more thing to add to my list!

From their website:

About the Show

AMC’s addictive new series, Breaking Bad, is a darkly comic drama that captures life at a moment of irrevocable change. In the ultimate mid-life crisis, a high school chemistry teacher takes a match to his straight-laced existence - turning a used Winnebago into a rolling meth lab. Everyday life combusts in this uncontrolled experiment with the American dream.

Thanks for the heads up. I still have Mad Men all saved up on my TiVo, so I probably wouldn't have found out about this otherwise.

Is this something that will air only on Sundays at 10 or will they have repeats throughout the week?

I am sure they will. With Mad Men they replayed it right after the initial airing and then about 3 times that week.

Are you worried about recording conflicts? Cause there ain't gonna be any if the strike continues.

Is this in the guide data yet? I keep forgetting to add it to the wishlist. If it's not in the guide data I can't add it to the line-up online, right?

I will have to try and catch this. I missed out on Mad Men, and tried to record it a few times to catch up, but never got it. Will have to find some way to get into that. But I would like to try this one from the beginning.

It is always good when a channel finds a voice for original programming. Seems like AMC may have done it.

This looks interesting! But no, I just searched on TCO and it's not in the guide data yet. (THere is a "Making of . . ." program, but not the actual show.) But I'll keep an eye out. Thx for the heads-up!

I added it yesterday. I just wish AMC was in HD or that they would re-broadcast it on HDNET in HD. Especially after hearing the little blurb about the cinematography.
