Network Feeds

Just got the HD TiVo and was wondering if it is possible for me to receive the HD network feeds from NY (I live in the Chicago area) or is it not possible any more with the MPEG4 being live here.

Possible? Yes. You have to call DirecTV and ask them to apply for waivers from your local network stations. Don't get your hopes up, though.

I'm in Chicago, got the HD Tivo in 1st week in October. Called them up to ask for HD Network fees from NY, they sent out the requests. I had Fox and CBS within 3 days. 4 days later, NBC and ABC were coming in as well, right before I got the postcard in the mail telling me they were activated. You shouldn't have a problem, I know I've read on here where others had the same experience as I did, very painless.
