Need image for Premiere XL TCD748000 (green screen of death); Mac app?

My box woke up yesterday trying to fix "a serious problem". After 24 hours I tried restarting: it went through restart and at the end reverted to the green screen.

What I have read suggests a new HD might fix it, hence request for image. ( I don't need to save recordings.) It has lifetime so I might as well try to save it. If not I imagine craigslist or ebay are the most cost-effective solution. A youngish Roamio perhaps.

I imagine there is still no OSX software to format a new drive? I'll lean on a PC friend.

Get access to a good quality USB-SATA dock that supports USB 3 and can support big hard drives; this one worked for me:

https://www.amazon.com/iDsonix-Drive-Docking-Station-Cable/dp/B00FDLCTQO/

Download VMWare Fusion for Mac - they have a free version for personal use.

VMware Fusion Player - Personal Use License

You could also try Oracle Virtualbox, but I found the USB driver support to be not quite as reliable.

Then grab a free eval ISO of Microsoft Windows 10 from microsoft.com - they have versions that are stripped down that are meant for Edge browser testing, but they are fully functional OS-es that work.

I've been able to restore and backup drives using WinMFS using this combination using an Intel-based Mac. This will NOT work on any of the new M1 or M1X/Pro macs that were released in the last year.

Thanks Greg for the image! With the help of a PC friend I loaded the image onto a fresh drive, and when it reached guided setup I thought I was home and hosed. But I got the S02 error after loading 99% info. No amount of restart or days spent in the loop got past it. I read whatever I could find: common issue with no clear solution. KS76543210 was promising at first but led to looping at C&DE. KS54 passed the new drive. KS57 registered but didn't seem to do anything, but after a number of tries including getting a GSOD, I finally got through guided setup, and my Premiere lives!
Correction: after rereading the Weaknees KS page I see GSOD is to be expected after KS57. In retrospect, I should have tried running the KS codes on the old drive before pulling it.
