I have a Sony SAT-T60 in my bedroom. I recently got an HDTV in that room and want to get an HR20 to replace the T60. I have lots of programs saved on the T60. Is there any way to save those programs other than by slow transfer to VHS/DVD?

Jim, Will that work (just to watch the shows) if I leave the TiVo connected to the TV but disconnected from the satellite?
