Didn't there used to be a shot of Abby changing her shirt in the credits? Whose bright idea was it to get rid of it?!?

Anyway, I thought the end of the first segment (BOOM!) was one of the most surprising that I've seen on the show...

And I'm sorry that the whole Jeanne storyline is (or at least seems to be) over. I guess that frees Tony up to pursue other women, but I liked her...

Anyone else have audio problems from WCBS ch 80 on DirecTV?
The dialoge was missing for the first 11 minutes.
I was shocked too, I couldn't believe for a second Tony was dead. I also think it's time to replace the director, she's starting to annoy me!
Yep no dialog for me too I'm going to record it on the west coast feed just won't be HD

yup, with the cross tattoo on her back showing, agreed, it was very Abby, I miss it too. I also miss a few of the Cote montage that are missing, and the Tony blowing on the envelope shot was shorter too.

They seriously tightened up the credits, I'd say they could be as much as only 1/2 as long as they used to be.
Whew. I thought the audio problem was due to my new Comcast digital service.

Commercials came through loud and clear, though. How come they never have audio problems?
We had two very short (1 second or so) audio drop outs OTA in Atlanta, GA.
No audio drops for me, but it did seem someone wasn't broadcasting the audio loud enough. Our surround sound system was at full blast during the show. The commercials about made us go deaf!

They're not in Dolby Digital 5.1.
What is wrong with these morons who call themselves engineers at TV stations and networks? It feels like we just took a step backwards 3 years around here. First the entire combiner/antenna transmission center in NYC goes to pot during prime time on Monday, and today CBS can't manage to feed audio properly to transmit to their stations for an entire 11 minutes of prime time.
The Director is still as annoying as ever. I have some other words for her but I try to keep it clean. :)

I was pretty sure that Tony was not dead... it was good to see them reach way back to determine that it wasn't Tony... Always nice when shows reference older episodes...and this was really really old.

I had the feeling last season that Gibbs had an idea that this under cover op was going on... especially during the Iraqi terrorist ep.
I knew tony wasn't dead simply because we didn't hear news & info months ago that he was leaving the show, etc...

stupid internets, make me miss suspense.. :(

Pauley's, perhaps?

Good. That means the character is effective.
I forgot to ask: You know at the beginning of each segment they show a freeze-frame of the last shot of the segment? Well, was it my imagination or did they violate that principle during the last segment? I seem to recall the preview freeze-frame was of the ship while the real last scene was the water holding the dead frog. Oui?

Oui, c'est vrai.

I was staying out of the thread until I was able to sit down and watch the show, since I can't while at work, being a moron and all that.
But saw a reference to audio problems during NCIS in another thread.

It wasn't CBS it was the station. I'll take a stab and say WCBS, aren't they the one D* puts up as the East Coast CBS HD Feed?

We record the East Coast Feed and delay it an hour, and audio was just fine for our airing, so the problem wasn't at CBS.

Knowing how long it takes to track down a problem, I'd say 11 minutes is pretty dam good, even for a moron.
