I noticed her name in the opening credits, so I was on the lookout. But yeah, I can't recall anything recently that I've seen her in.

There is LOTS of interweb chatter about that possibility.

He's been looking long in the tooth for a few seasons now. The problem is that he's the only remaining original cast member, as well as the star, and there's no show without him.

While he might be the show's star, I disagree with the assertion that "there's no show without him". The team seems to work fine without him and the show has always been focused on the separate investigations that team members do.

As for retiring, the show was just renewed and the article on Deadline said that he was "expected to be back"

I'd say he still looks pretty good......

I just read a couple days ago that ncis has been renewed for next season, and so have blue bloods and also magnum.

And Harmon is apparently in the new season as well.

He stayed to save jobs...

Hope he makes more screen time than Hetty Lange does.

I hope those episodes in which he does not appear do well enough to convince the network to keep the show going without him...

Harmon is coming back but only because CBS says they will cancel without him.
