Nancy Drew premieres Wednesday, October 9 at 9/8c on The CW.

Check your One Passes! My one pass set to NEW is not picking up the premiere because of bad guide data.

For me, guide data for 10/9 is bad. It shows S1E7, "The Death & Life of Billy Feral", from a series that aired 11/4/1995. A kids show starring Tracy Ryan (born 1971) and Joy Tanner (born 1966). I had to set a manual recording. Funny, I can actually stream that episode from Amazon Prime Video. However, guide data for 10/16 is correct, showing S1E2, and my 1P is picking that one up. Starring Kennedy McMann, who is only 22, so more believable playing an 18(?)yo than 48yo Tracy Ryan.

I just did a manual connection to the Network, and both my TE3 Bolt (OTA) and Roamio (CableOne) now have correct guide data for the 10/9 Nancy Drew, showing S1E1 of the 2019 series.

My guide updated to the correct information for this show earlier this morning. But even though I have a One Pass set up it still has not picked up this episode in the To Do list. How long does that normally take?

Usually within a few minutes. To force an update, go to the 1P manager, move the top entry down one spot then wait for the updates to finish. Then move it back. Check the TDL. If it's still missing, either the 1P has a problem or the metadata is messed up. Either way, make a new 1P.

Since tv.com gets its data from TiVo, and that is bad, you may not be able to make a 1P for this week's episode.

What I did, out of curiosity, was delete the recording I set up for, 10/9, deleted my 1P, which was picking up 10/16. Then I went into the guide, clicking on the 10/9 EP and created a new 1P. This 1P is picking up 10/9 and 10/16, E1 and E2, respectively.

That is what I will end up doing. I was hoping the system was smart enough that it would recognize the guide update on it's own. If I had not read this thread I would have missed the episode.
