My Tivo Roamio re-orders my OnePasses. I have proof (I started photographing and comparing later). It's just my wife and I and she never mucks with it. I realize now I lost a few shows this summer because of the re-ordering. I put everything in a good order earlier today and tonight I found a few moved around (I have 26 OnePasses in total - nothing crazy).

What is going on?

One possibility - It seems like if I ADD Season passes, and then go move them. Next time i look they are moved back to where they were. Maybe I can't MOVE them until sometime later after I ADD them?

Are you using Tivo's online service to manage 1Ps? If so, don't.

It's a site to control some of your TiVo's functions: online.tivo.com. You can play items in your "My Shows" sometimes. It's also the simplest way to copy files from TE3 to a TE4 box.

To make your 1P refresh, move the first one down one. Then wait until it's done "updating", then move it back. I, having too much free time, like to keep them in the order they should appear in my TDL.

I've never seen / heard of this problem. I have over 300 Season Passes (319 according to kmttg just now; Yeah, I'll do some maintenance for the 'Cancelled" shows as soon as I get a 'Round Tuit' ) and I've never experienced your problem.

In any event, it sounds like not a common issue, I'm going with my theory that moves I make right after I add a Season Pass don't stick and will test this going forward. I'll post again if it turns out to be more than this.

I just *LOVE* how the first reaction to my questions / troubleshooting is denial / anger / etc...

Don't know if this is your issue, but not impossible, so here it is. I have a mini in my kitchen that is on a crappy TV that takes 5-10 seconds to actually turn on after pressing the power button. What happens is I press the TV power button then before the TV actually turns on I try to change to the channel I want to watch. The catch is that I forget that the mini is on the menu instead of live TV. So when I put in channel 123, for example, when I press 1 it opens the one pass menu and when I press 23 it then moves my first one pass to 23rd.

Thanks Hickoryw - But I use a Harmony so the turn-on procedure is always the same - good idea though. The more I talk about it here, I think the "changes" happen only after i add (or sometimes, re-order) OnePasses. and the "changes", now that I think about it, may amount to some of my moves not taking place. So now, after making such changes/adds, I'm going to check an hour later. Based on a few days looking so far (which isn't enough) it doesn't seem like the changes happen in a vacuum, (I.e., after things are stable they stay stable) but I need to check methodically over a longer timeline. What this thread has told me is that there isn't some big known issue that I wasn't aware of - thanks!

I used to have this problem with my Roamio. It would happen every few weeks and seemingly randomly. Then it just stopped. No idea why. So the problem is not unique to you, but apparently it's uncommon.

Not sure if this is your issue but. You can go into your one pass list and move items up and down. BUT it does not always "catch". Have to move, then exit and go back in. When you do that should see "updating" next to all your one pass shows. Once it does that, should work. Though some people say they have the same problem.

Really strange, another prob that I've never seen and I've reordered, added/deleted, etc. many times over the years.
