This is really weird. About two months ago we got a new channel that shows a lot of old programs from years ago. It's called FETV. I've been recording shows daily starting at 8pm for those two months off of this channel along with all of the other shows I watch. On Sunday things changed. The box will show it recording off this channel and immediately after when I go to my show menu it's not there. Also, I can watch this channel all day long. But when it comes to the show I'm recording the screen goes blank and I can't even watch it while it's recording. I am totally lost at what is wrong.

When you post "we got", does that mean TiVo had a message that a channel has been added and this is the channel number? Maybe this will help:

Also, check the History folder.

Look in the Channels list, Are there just one channel entry for that channel or more than one? It may be recording off one of the channels that is no longer working, so check try to view each of them and uncheck the ones that is not working.

I checked the Channel list and nothing has changed. It's the same channel as always. But as I said it also makes no sense that I can watch daytime until 8 on that channel and then it all disappears.

Strangely it’s all working again like normal. Not sure what or how that happened.

I spoke too soon. Last night it recorded all of the shows that I watch. I even watched one of them. This morning when I turned on the Tivo they're all gone again. It's almost like they're somewhere in the box still, but where.

Try the universal fix: a restart.
