This was the funniest "Earl" in ages. I haven't laughed this much in a long time. So many great lines and situations, but I think the funniest was when Frank had drawn the map of the plan for the robbery on the fridge, and then Randy fired the shotgun right through it. And later when Randy was happy the milk was warm, only to spit out his spoonful of cereal and go "Oh god... what's the date on this cereal?"
Loved when the hooker said about the sake and the Japanese business man (paraphrasing) "Just get a vodka bottle, rip off the label and draw a dragon on it, he won't know the difference"
And when they got the room and Frank demonstrated that they could spit on the floor.
Earl's line about the El Camino... "Randy - he's got an El frikkin' Camino! That's like the Cadillac of cars!"

Wow. finally we get an "origin" episode about how all the characters came together. I thought the comedy itself in this episode was kind of "meh," especially in comparison to the strong season start. Mostly gross comedy rather than clever.
I did laugh out loud at the Al Roker line though... I pictured a writing room bet where someone was challenged to come up with a way to fit that in the show.

Anybody speak Japanese? I figure since every time Catalina speaks spanish, she's breaking the fourth wall, maybe the Japanese guy had a message for us as well.
