Today I noticed that all my channels have changed, but Tivo doesn't know the new channels. Based on all the recordings that are wrong, it looks as though this may have happened sometime yesterday.

When will Tivo know the new lineup and is there anything I can do to "speed up" the process?

I visited the zap2it website (who are they?) and the channels are the way they were yesterday (the way my tivo still thinks they are). According to time warner's website, about a dozen channels on my lineup changed today (10/15) - of course the three I watch most are on that list. I submitted the form fredct mentioned, thanks.

How long before tivo catches up? Thanks!!

i'm having this problem on upper PBS stations (comcast, santa cruz, ca) and have for a while. called PBS, tivo, and comcast. PBS said they are 'working on it' ... tivo had me redo guided setup ... and comcast said not their problem.

i do have a rather form-looking email from tivo saying it would take 5-7 days to resolve. hasn't been that long since i wrote them, but the problem has been longer than that.

hopefully it will be resolved soon as there are so many things i watch on those upper two channels.

If its not resolved within the 5-7 days promised (whenever that occurs), submit the issue again. Can't hurt.

Its not TiVo's "fault", per say, they just grab the data from a provider, but if they are made aware of an issue, they need to work with their provider to fix it and keep their subscribers happy. It should be fixed soon, but in the meantime, the more reports the better - so if you know someone else in your area, have them submit too.

NewYorkLaw,

In the past when we had a lineup change it was always fixed within a few days. This this time it has not gone as well. Comcast changed the lineup four weeks ago and Tribune Media still hasn't corrected it. Comcast is being blamed for not confirming the lineup. Like previous posters stated. If it is not fixed withing 5 or so days. Submit it again!

See thread for further details --> http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=367790

Good luck, Bob

I'm having the same problem with Time Warner Cable in Southern Manhattan. A handful of channels were changed, but the listings haven't caught up.

Wrote TiVo and zap2it (Tribune) last night.

Damn Time Warner. I can hardly wait until Verizon offers TV via their FIOS service -- I'm going to be the first one to leave TW like I left AT&T so many years ago!!!

when i talked to comcast, i pretty much said this (logically.) when they said it's not their fault, i said they were the only ones in control of their lineup so they certainly are involved in the communication problem.

is it mostly comcast's fault? is it that they haven't passed along the accurate information?

in addition to continuing w/ tivo, i would love to sit on comcast ... just cuz it's fun.

yeah! mine was fixed within the 5-7 day window.

very odd what happened though. two upper PBS stations - KQED World and KQED Life - were on 189 and 190. until a few weeks ago they were fine, then suddenly all the programming was wrong. the fix was flipping the numbers - 189 to 190 and 190 to 189. very odd, but there you have it.

huzzah! finally functional.

my s2 wasnt scheduled to update yet, just forced an update and its okay now. its about time... with the slew of changes, it was annoying watching tv...

a minor bug i noticed, the title of each season pass entry that was affected by the channel changes didnt update, but the scheduled recordings did... for example, it says (Program Name) AETV 16 instead of (Program Name) AETV 46.
