My Boys, on TBS starts tonight

How did I miss this show's original run?

I stumbled across the marathon yesterday and am hooked. Eager for new season. :up:

I've been waiting for this show to come back on for awhile now. I was glad that it was not canceled.

Excellent. Jordana Spiro is a cutie.

I hate sports. But I like this show. It's the way the characters interact, their attitudes and general banter that got me.

Best episode of the last season was the birthday episode.

Let's hope this season is good as S1.

I am not a sports fan either. I caught the marathon on TBS this weekend, and I really liked the show. I'll be watching the new season.

I watched the first ep of the new season last night and liked it. Hoping for a good run this season.

I like this show, too, and thought the first episode of the new season was very good. Humorous, not really funny, and that's fine with me. The Draft was a wonderful scene, very realistic. I also liked the keys scene between PJ and Brendan, both meaning to talk but neither doing anything. Reminds me of me, I fear.

My tivo caught it while I was on vacation and I haven't watched them because I thought they were re-runs. I, too, thought the show was cancelled.

The most recent episode, where PJ dallies with a cub pitcher was awful. The interplay between PJ and the Cub was not at all believable, nor the fact that she would enter into such a compromising position.

The 'sexiest guys' side of the show was even worse. Maybe the show only works if the group is sitting at home playing poker or something?

The "desperate friend" schtick is getting old, and I could have gone a whole season without the return of Trouty. I still want to watch, though, so they're not doing everything wrong yet.

From what I've gotten from it, the show works best when it's them at the bar or at PJs playing poker.

Except for the birthday scene at the ball park and the dinner scene with Neil Flynn, most of the external stuff was not so great.

But, it's not bad like I am not going to keep watching.

Re: hot bachelor list... Is their world so ****ed and deplete of hot guys that TROUTY gets in the top 20!?!

There is no way in hell that the one guy who turns out to be rich and from a very famous family can be left off the top 50 list, yet Trouty can be on it. Just plain stupid.

Actually, I thought that might be an explanation, rather than a BS indicator

Not a bad theory. Would certainly explain things in a new way.


Regardless of this, I dig this show. A nice little light and easy time filler. Even tho I am not a fan of sports, I still get it.
