Currently I have the 18 Inch Dish with two LNB's and 2 outlets to a 2x4 Multiswitch feeding 2 DirecTiVos

If I add a HDTiVo and a Tripple Sat Dish with the 4 Switchable Outputs

Can I do this...

Tripple Sat Dish with the 4 switchable outputs -> 2x4 multiswitch -> Two SD DirecTiVos(set up as single dish only so they only lock into the 2 LNB's on the main sat)

Then run the remaining 2 outputs from the TripleSat directly to a HDTiVo (which can take advantage of all LNBs) ?

No. Just get a 4x8 multiswitch, like the Terk BMS58, then connect all four satellite lines to the four multiswitch inputs. You'll have eight outputs for your DVRs.

Why will it not work? I have other motives, I do not want to run any more wire.

My HD Tivo will be upstairs and I don't have a chase from upstairs to downstairs. I would like to run 2 cables straight from the dish, though the attic to the HD Tivo and use the existing 2 cables to go to the 2x4 switch for the other two tivos.

I'm having trouble seeing why the setup I describe will not work. Each output on the tripple sat dish is assignable to any of the 4 LNBs if I'm not mistaken, if the 2x4 chooses h and v of the main dish and leaves it, then the other 2 outputs should be freely available to the HDTiVo right?

You are correct. It will work as long as any receivers downstream of the 2x4 are SD.
