Multiroom Streaming Unusably Slow

I have 2 Premiere XLs and the Tivo wireless N adapter connected to one and the second connected to my Verizon AcionTec wireless g router. Multiroom streaming worked well with my original units, even HD programs transferred in just a few minutes and played through successfully.

However, Tivo swapped out one unit for a refurb due to an esata problem. The new unit sees my other unit's program list, but takes about 4 days to transfer 15 minutes of a 30-minute HD program and the rest is unwatchable.

Customer service said it may have been too soon for this feature to be usable and suggested unplugging both units and forcing a connection to the Tivo service. This did not help and it has now been over a week and the problem continues.

Had this problem with a bad N adapter, got it exchanged and all was good, I know you had the TiVo exchanged but sometimes two problems happen at the same time, you can test out the N adapter on a laptop computer if you shut off the laptop wireless adapter and check the Internet speed using just the N adapter connected to your RJ54 jack, you can also make sure that the N adapter is connected to your router correctly.
I have the same problem wth my two tivo premieres. Many times my newest premiere tells me that there are no programs on my other premiere to transfer. After going in and out a few times it finally sees them, but then takes a few hours to transfer a half hour program. I also have the HD Tivo which downloads programs from both of my premieres in no time at all. The only difference is that my premieres use the new wireless N adapters while my HD Tivo uses the older usb wirless adapter. The signal strength on all adapters are all high. I am thinking about hard wiring my tivos to see if this makes a difference. If not, then I would say there is something not right with the premieres.
I just come out the av output on the back of my tivo series 2 to a RF-link 5.8 ghz system and plug the other end of that bad boy into a TV in the other room. It's not HD but have had great sucess with it and don't have to pay for the second TIVO.
Definitely shouldn't be like this. With a TiVo HD connected to a TiVi G adapter I can transfer HD to a wired Premiere faster than real time, and SD shows transfer so fast I can watch the progress bar move.
