I'm sure the answer to this has to be somewhere in here - and if so, maybe someone can point me to the thread - but after looking here and going through Tivo's support site, I can't find the answer - so, sorry in advance if this has been answered before...
I have 2 Sony S2's and 1 S3 all connected over an Mac Airport network. All TiVos are using TiVo G network adapters. I had MRV between the S2's at least through Christmas 06 (but honestly don't know when it actually disappeared). It may have been when I switched from WEP to WPA2 when the update that allowed WPA security came in for the S3.
I recently put a new drive in one of the S2's and am trying to get it to communicate with the other S2. MRV is turned on at the TiVo site. I've tried WPA, WEP and no security at all. Nothing seems to work. I tried to set up peer to peer to see if that would go, but I'm pretty dumb and couldn't get that going and still have them access the network... if that's even how it its supposed to work...
In the past, MRV set up has always been easy - plugged it in, selected the settings and it worked.
Any ideas? Is there something really simple (or complicated) that I'm not doing?
