Can you do this? I have some programs recorded on a dtivo with HMO. I would like to be able to watch them on a regular S2 tivo. Can you do this or no?

Both the DirecTivo and the S2 must be hacked to disable encryption if you want to use MRV between them.

I see. I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Dtivo is already hacked. A few years ago, I did all kinds of things to it including putting on tivoweb and all that jazz...I could even stream from it using mplayer. I'm assuming that means its not encrypted?

If the software has not been updated, it would be superpatched still.

Now you have to apply the same hacks to your standalone.
