apparently the song played for the previews of the CSI:Las Vegas season opener was used in a few different shows... Cold Case, and possibly Without a trace as well..
I like IZ's cover, i first heard it on ER a few years back, that "fat" guy was damn talented and died to soon.jchilton said:Oh just wait until the network dramas get well into their story arcs and the characters start getting cancer and croaking off. Then that cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawo--Kamakaweel--Kamakawaiowa--that fat Hawaiian dude will rocket to the top of the list.
+1 !!!mtnagel said:I knew which song you were going to say when I saw the title. I only watched 3 of the 4 mentioned, but I did just watch Journeyman.
I'm missing my thunder because you stole it.Idahoguy said:This is OOOOOOOOUR country!

Last nights episode of Las Vegas also started with it. I guess original thinking is out of style this year.Vito the TiVo said:I'm curious if any one else has any thoughts. I'm going with "Young Folks" by Peter, Bjorn and John:
I've already heard it on Gossip Girl (first moments of the pilot), Dirty Sexy Money (in the pilot), Big Bang Theory (in the ads and in the pilot I believe) and then again last night on Journeyman.
I know shows don't know what music other shows are using, but I haven't been this annoyed since Prison Break used Massive Attack in their climatic sequence in the first season -- except its the same piece of music that is fairly well known as the theme song to another Fox series, House.
