We currently have a Bolt which we rolled back to TE3 so that we could exchange shows with our Series 2 (both boxes have lifetime). Are there more Apps available if we upgrade to TE4? We're especially interested in adding Disney-Plus and AppleTV-Plus.

Any guidance from the TiVo sages (good or bad) would be appreciated!

Are there more Apps available if we upgrade to TE4?

No, though some features of existing apps may require TE4 to function. (It's gone hazy, but possibly HDR support in one or more apps on the 4K boxes.)

p.s. Definitely no Disney+ or AppleTV+. You'll want some other streaming device for those.
