I have Time Warner Cable and my TiVo always alerts me regarding Channel changes, but last night Time Warner changed some of their channels and it hasn't registered on my TiVo.

USA normally broadcasts on Channel 40 and last night they were switched to Channel 16 on Time Warner, same with Sci-Fi and the History Channel. Any other TiVo users with Time Warner have the same issue and when will TiVo notice and acknowledge
the change?

Not meaning to spam your thread. I just wanted to say that I am glad I'm not the only one with this SP. :)

FYI. I am on Comcast. Sorry can't actually help.

If i remember correctly, NBCU paid TW to move all of it's channels to a block of low numbered cable channels. I believe I saw a press release on this on thefutoncritic.com back in late july or august and was to be completed just prior to FOX going live with it's finance channel. The channels affected should be:

MSNBC
CNBC
USA
BRAVO
SCIFI

others may be in the block as well, but here are all I can think of

Anyway - while i'm on comcast - i do know that anytime they've done large moves like the one TW just did - it sometimes took a week or two for them to get the channels updated. I do believe they have a form to submit alerting them to it on their support site.

BTW- NBCU just purchased oxygen so i'm not sure if that one is included as well
