I have 4 Moca adapters I use to provide ethernet throughout my home and they have worked great over the last year until recently I began occasionally losing internet connection on the Moca network. All devices connected directly to modem/router or WiFi work. This started happening a few days after I had to replace my Windstream Modem/Router so I am not sure if it is related. The two lights on the adapter are both on. So far it seems that I can remove power and reconnect the Moca Adapter 1 (the one connected to Modem/Router) and the problem is resolved. Moca Adapter 1 and 2 are Tivo Moca Adapters and Moca Adapter 2 & 3 are Motorola. I didn't try to ping devices on the network and see if it was just internet related so I have that on my list of things to try when it fails again. I did move the Moca Adapter 1 connection from the Modem/Router to the 8 port switch to see if maybe it was a port on the Modem/Router. I am looking for suggestions to troubleshoot next time it happens as my home automation Thin Client is on the Moca network and I need it to be reliable.
