I have a Roamio Lifetime in the Washington DC area using FIOS.

I have been having a recurring problem with listings being completely missing for select channels.

The channel shows "To be Announced", and the Guide is blank. At the top, it says "Title not available - No information available."

The other day it was The Discovery Channel, among others.

Today TDC is back, and Bravo now has the problem. Also TBSHD, FXHD, PARHD, NBCSNHD, ScienceHD, QVCHD (maybe that's normal?), A&EHD, and TruTVHD.

I have checked the To Do list, and no Bravo season pass programs are slated to record in the future (presumably because there are no listings).

Last service connection was 11am today, and it was successful.

Is this a Roamio problem or a FIOS listings problem?

Suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

when this happens, repeat guided setup - it won't effect your 1p's or recordings, and the listings will repopulate correctly once it's done.

For reasons that I don't understand, this was fixed by just doing another network connection. The load took a very ... long ... time, despite the fact that one was completed just hours before. Tivo support suggested two connections in a row, but only the first was needed.

So, apparently, what happens is that sometimes my TiVo just drops entire channels of program material -- all of it, not just the new stuff -- and it doesn't realize that it has made an error. The update shows as successful. On a subsequent network connection, it notices that a bunch of data is missing, and heals itself. Then on a later network connection, it may drop an entirely different set of channels, also without noticing a problem.

This does not bode well for getting my programs recorded regularly, if a channel can just disappear for no reason on any given day.

welcome to the "to be announced" & "title not available" clubs, also abbreviated as "tba" & "tna" - we don't have t-shirts or a secret handshake, but we check our "to do list" (tdl) and report in this forum regularly - here are just a few examples, you can search the forum for many others:
