I've found similar threads, but I couldn't find anything specific to my problem. My cats knocked my Mini's remote off the table so many times that it got to the point it only functioned about 50% of the time. I had a remote from one of my other Mini's that I replaced with a Mini Vox so I put that remote back into service. It controls this Mini fine, but only in IR mode. When I try to get it into RF mode, I get three yellow flashes and then it goes right back to IR mode. Creating a line of site for this particular Mini is a pain. What else can I do to get this Mini/remote to work in RF mode?

Start by doing a full reset of the remote: https://support.tivo.com/articles/I...-Perform-a-Global-Reset-for-my-Remote-Control

You will have to reprogram the TV controls.

Thank you. That worked. I had read how to reset the remote somewhere else, but they failed to mention "enter" after the 3 thumbs down so it didn't actually work.
