Wanting to know if there are any methods to Migrate the data from the xl4 with with esata to new a new Edge for cable subscribers? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you

If both units are visible with TiVo Online you can use it to transfer files and 1P. If they are not, that's a problem.

I am able to see the boxes however, on the source there is a red circle with a line through it, I am guessing that content will not transfer?

So I've heard. I never had a copy protected program.

That is correct copy protected data can only be steamed between two TiVos with subscriptions in good standing.

I have timewarner/spectrum and I'm guessing 80% of the programming I record is copy protected.
