Season 6 of MI-5 is airing in the U.K. The show is called "Spooks" in the U.K.
The first 2 episodes are on the internet now. Do a search for "Spooks" on bittorrent and newsgroups.

When is BBCA or A&E going to air Seasons 3, 4 or 5 stateside? I almost bought the UK Season 3 DVDs and may still go that route if I have to wait a year to see them. (They're only 14 pounds on Amazon UK.)

A&E "cancelled" MI-5. I doubt A&E will show is again. We'll have to wait on BBC America or just buy the DVD sets. Series 1 through 4 are available in the U.S and it appears that Series 5 will be available in Jan 2008.

I buy DVDs of British shows on Amazon UK as they tend to be a lot cheaper. In the case of MI-5/Spooks, $30 vs. $56 and the package arrives in a week. (Of course, it's only an option if you have a region-free DVD player).

Now that I think about it, I saw Season 3. Maybe I'll pick up Season 4; was it better than 3?

I wonder if this will be picked up if the American writers go on strike next month.....

It seems to me BBC will be sitting on a gold mine of "new" programing.

But with the exchange rate, 30 pounds comes out to a little over $59.

Are you saying seasons 3, 4, and 5 have never aired in the US? On BBCA or A&E?

Can someone spoilerize how season 2 ends?

Major spoiler:

If I'm remembering correctly: they had some serious cast replacements as I remember correctly. A couple people were KIA. The replacement for Tom (who was previously MI6) was still around. But that's all I can remember.

At least 3 and 4 aired. The last season A&E did, after a couple episodes they dumped the rest in a marathon. I'm not sure if that was 4 or 5...

I think that was Series 4.
