Is there anyone out there who uses the Metronet (TV/INTERNET/PHONE) fiber optic service with Tivo Bolts or any other Tivo units? I cannot tell from their website if they will supply cablecards and allow the use of Tivos, so if you have this service please let me know.

They have just made a deal with our city (Bryan, TX) to install their fiber optic service within the next year. This will finally give Suddenlink (our current standalone TV/INTERNET/PHONE dealer using copper wiring and with lousy service) some competition.

They are IP based so you have to use their equipment. I still use xfinity for my TV service but metronet for phone and internet.

I've had very few problems with them in the 4 years I've had their service.
