We have Mediacom (NW Florida area). Our Music Channels stopped several weeks ago. After 3 calls, finally told Mediacom will no longer provide Music Channels for subscribers with Cable Cards. Is there a tech reason for this? Are we slated for other lost services? Unsure if they are required to provide certain services to all paying customers.

Maybe this is a back-door implementation of SDV? It seems like a really small amount of bandwidth, but every little bit helps, I suppose. I'd be more than happy to give up the music channels in order to save even one linear HD channel from SDV.
