Just curious if anyone knows what this new update will bring - email message from Mediacom only explains potential issues:
WHAT TO EXPECT FOLLOWING THE SOFTWARE UPDATE:
Following the reboot, your programming information and recorded shows may be temporarily unavailable for one to three hours while saved data is migrated to the new TiVo software. You will also not be able to search, browse or create new OnePass recordings. Please disregard any error messages that may appear on your TiVo box while the update takes place. Examples of error messages that should be disregarded are M60: Run out of Data; S01, S02 or S03; or prompts to connect to TiVo Service.
While Mediacom does not expect any significant problems to arise from the TiVo update, there is a potential that some subscribers may experience temporary issues. Most of these issues will resolve on their own without requiring additional troubleshooting. If you continue to experience problems after 12 pm (Noon), please refer to the list below for assistance.
