I don't know what Pennsylvania town Easttown is based on but I'm glad I never lived there. Very depressing.

Kate Winslet is great in this. The first episode is depressing but it is very well acted and an intriguing story.

We just watched it tonight. Thought it was slow, but good, and I'm interested in the story.
