Lux Remote Always Illuminated

Tivo gave me a free Lux recently and I like it a lot. However...it was always lit up. It worked fine so I figured maybe the energy draw is so light, it doesn't matter. Within a week the batteries were drained. Replaced the batteries and now it seems to act correctly. When I pick it up it lights up. Hopefully it will stay this way. Anybody ever hear of this behavior?

I’ve had mine since launch. It’s only supposed to light up when u pick it up. Maybe twice mine got stuck on so I just took the batteries out and put them back in and that fixed it.

Stupid assumption on my part. It seems to be working now. Lights up only when picked up.
