Make sure you go to the TiVo site and enable Transfers and video downloads. Also, double-check your network connection, and check to see if a reboot is pending after a sw update.
I just downloaded a music video with no problem, so my internet connection is working. For some reason, I can't get into the Tivo site to check the enable transfer status. There is currently some kind of site error when I try to go to their website and sign in. I don't know how to check to see if a reboot is pending, but I did find a place to restart the box (which I assume is the same as a reboot). No luck yet.Make sure you go to the TiVo site and enable Transfers and video downloads. Also, double-check your network connection, and check to see if a reboot is pending after a sw update.
Thanks. I went to that screen and Netflix, Blockbuster and Hulu were already checked. None appear on the "Find videos" menu. I have less than a week experience with TiVo, but I know I saw all three of these as well as YouTube in that drop down menu. I did a search and typed in a specific YouTube video that I had seen in the past, and it did appear in the search and I was able to play it, so I know my internet connection is just fine and I can get into YouTube. But I still can't search for videos specifically in YouTube. How is their telephone support? I'm considering giving them a call.I bet that one of your subsequent updates caused the issue. Go to the Channels screens- there you can select items to show up like netflix and hulu.
DIddo---I think there was an update and it messed things up temporarily. The same worked for me. Thanks.
