Load Video On TiVo Thread(s)?

Been doing some searches here, but can't seem to find this topic. Hopefully, someone can point me to this information.

I'd like to view some videos on my TV, via the TiVo, that are currently on my computer. They could be mpeg, wmv or even flv's from YouTube. I'm guessing this is a two step process, first converting to some kind of TiVo-centric format, then moving to a directory used by the TiVo Desktop.
