Hi all. I noticed this morning that somehow the interface menus etc. on my Edge (TE4) were all lo-rez and jaggedy. (The video output was normal.) I checked the video output setting which was fine (auto at 1080p) and tried unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable (which had no effect). I finally just restarted the Edge and that returned things to normal.

My questions are two:

1) Has anyone seen this happen before?
2) Is there anyway to get back to normal resolution interface without having to restart?

Try sending the HDUI reset "Thumbs Down", "THumbs Up", "Play", "Play" The TiVo should 'ding' then several seconds later change to the gray arrow screen ending up at the Home menu entire process takes around a minute.

That's worth a shot.

Happened again this morning; HDUI reset didn't work, but toggling the output resolution (to 1080i then back to Auto) did fix it. Decided to not use Auto and instead set it to 1080p, to see if that keeps it from happening again...
