Line up problem... TiVo unresponsive

How long does it take TiVo to correct a line up problem?

For the last couple of months, the TiVo schedule has shown my local PBS station as "SIGN OFF" from midnight on Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday morning. This most certainly is NOT true. The only way I can schedule a program being shown in that time block is to go to the web site of my local PBS station, look on their schedule, and then set up TiVo to do a manual recording.

A couple of weeks ago I finally submitted a report to TiVo and they responded with a case number (7065825), but that's the last I've heard from them... and the TiVo listing continues to show that time block as "SIGN OFF."

Without accurate listings information, the value of TiVo is greatly diminished!

This is not so much a lineup problem as it is a problem with the data they are getting from Tribune. I would check and see if the same problem exists with online guids such as Zap2It. If they list the same Off the Air, there is nothing that Tivo can do except report the problem to Tribune.
Welcome the club. Tivo has a lot of problems with PBS channels. My PBS HD channel has been the wrong station since Nov. After at least a half dozen reports, I gave up. They can't get it straightened out. Check this thread.

It's quite obvious the data are wrong, but it's just as obvious correct data are available, evidenced by the fact that I can go to the station's web site and look up the correct listing.

As the end user, I have no interest in who's at "fault" for a data problem. All I care about is being able to use a service I pay for.
