After 15 mins of fighting my way through it, I skipped ahead a few times hoping it got better then gave up and deleted it.

Yeah, I muscled my way through the episode, but that.... was truly, truly awful. Horrible. Painfully, painfully bad. By far and away the worst episode of the show so far, possibly the worst hour of television I've ever seen.
Worst episode ever for one of my favorite shows. Worst, that is, except for any scenes with Parker in them!
Wow. I read the earlier comments before I watched the episode and though surely everyone was exaggerating, no way it could be that bad. After watching it, I will say I think you all were too kind to the show. Wow, that was bad. Really
Bad. I-cant't-believe-I-just-the-whole-thing bad. I fear the show has lost its mojo.
Interesting reading all these comments. I haven't watched the episode yet but I enjoyed the previous episode. It felt like they were getting back to what I originally liked about the show. I guess that didn't last.
I agree with you all. It was the worst episode of anything I've sat through in a long, long time.
The only thing that was somewhat amusing was the card with the blurred out F-bomb. I couldn't help but snicker at that.
That episode was so bad that I lost my thoughts on what they were trying to do.
Nothing to add to this thread, just that all previous posts were spot on.

Just wow....

+1
Watching this episode gave me the impression that the producers and actors are getting bored with the show. They really mailed it in with this one.

I had to give it up months ago... The writing seemed to really drop off a cliff.
Well, I'm still cautiously hopeful that this was just a one-off major misstep for the show, an instance where the idea seemed better than the execution, something where the people behind the show decided to indulge their worst tendencies.

I was reading the TNT Leverage forum, where the ardent fans were saying that those who criticized this episode didn't understand it was a parody of "The Office." No - I got that. It just wasn't a GOOD parody of "The Office."
I felt like the South Park kids after watching the most recent Indiana Jones movie.

Worst. Episode. Ever.

That was cute, but what was really funny was Hardison eating the sandwich at the end. That was the only true LOL moment of the show for me.

Otherwise, yeah. Not an ep I'll ever watch again.
Well, I must say, I'm surprised!

I hated the show, from the OTT Director guy to the aside to camera, but then again, I'm not a fan of The Office. I figured that fans would 'get it', but it looks like I was wrong.

I agree with just about everything that has already been written in this thread and just hope, as others do, it was a one-off and will improve.

On a lighter note, I see that the final season of Hustle will air in the UK in January, so it'll probably be here at the same time or soon after. Hustle is a much better thought out and executed show, IMHO.
Although I've never watched The Office, it's good to know that they were trying to do something different but failed miserably. THis episode sucked. While watching, I thought it was similar to one of those high brow Community episodes that only the cool people understand.
I guess I am the only one that kinda liked the episode. Sure it was rough and not to their usual style - but it was different. Various exchanges between Parker and the director were great, as were Office-style on-camera interviews. I found the director's focus on the water cooler (which was getting progressively emptier) pretty funny too.

The only redeeming part of the episode was all the shots of parker in that tight skirt. She has a seriously great figure.
I decided to look at this thread though I haven't watched it yet.

After reading all this, I'm kind of looking forward to the train wreck.
