More from the Discovery Channel
excerpt:
In the thrilling new Discovery Channel series LAST ONE STANDING, six athletes three American and three British are immersed in the most remote tribes in the world, where they live alongside and train with indigenous tribespeople as they prepare to represent their host tribe in raw and intense competition. From death-defying Zulu stick fighting in South Africa to an arduous foot race in the Mexican mountains wearing only handmade sandals these men push their physical and mental limits to see who will be the last warrior standing. This new 12-part series premieres Thursday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
PS>>> I was certain I heard about this show over a month ago while ago reading through posts on this site. Unfortunately, I can not find that post! To make matters even more complicated, when I first heard about this show, I entered 'Last Man Standing' in my Wishlist. I probably would have missed the series if I did not catch the preview on Yahoo's home page today. I wonder if they recently changed the title from "Last Man Standing" to "Last One Standing" to be more politically correct?
Anyway, I just wanted to pass along the info. I tried searching for the original post or any mention of this show and could not find anything.
