Yeah, they edited out things that were too racy.
L&O: SVU - Sun 9/30 "...Or Just Look Like One"
I understand this was an old one, 3rd ep from 1st season. Did anyone notice a couple of audio drop outs/edits. The first one was when they were in the garage. You couldn't hear what the suspect was saying, but could hear the background noise. Happened again later at the photographers place when Olivia was talking.

Ok? it was OK in 99, but post Janet Jackson/Super Bowl it's not.
I'm not sure what's the motivation, actually. Law & Order CI just started reruns here late-nights on Fox, and they've had some episodes with that same kind of editing. But I've never noticed any editing of the epiosdes at all on USA, ever.
