The cop-son seems fairly on-the-ball...
I'm still not sure I buy that Ava would take in Boyd as a lodger.
The cop-son seems fairly on-the-ball...Very curious to see what Mags' plan is. The problem is that her subordinates are incompetent.
Technically, they haven't really pissed off the US Marshal Service... yet. They've only gotten their attention. That's why the guy (state trooper?) had to pry Raylan loose with a crowbar to borrow him for a while.Mags is small-time, and smart enough to know that she's small-time. 2/3 of her offspring do not share her intelligence. Now they've pissed off a big-time crime organization plus the US Marshal Service. I guess we'll see just how smart she is!
She is actually talking a lot more uppity than Raylan. Raylan was talking pretty simple and straight-forward. Cause hey, he is the hillbilly whisperer.I was thinking Boyd has started talking like Raylan. Then Loretta started talking like Raylan.
They are stupid, but they are infinitely loyal. And that counts for a lot. She'll not likely put Loretta in charge of too much cause she knows that whole "killed your daddy" thing will eventually blow wide open in her face. So that will continue to be tricky and make things hazardous. Even a little girl can poison a glass of apple pie.Very curious to see what Mags' plan is. The problem is that her subordinates are incompetent. In terms of the people surrounding her I might have to put Loretta at the top of the list in terms of intelligence and cunning. Doyle coming in behind her with Coover and Dickie way in the rear.
I can't wait to see how the Loretta storyline shakes out.
You do if they all circle around and intersect at some point. Never underestimate good writing. The actress who plays Mags is very strong. Ive enjoyed her in everything she's been in. I think they need to just focus on Raylin and Mags from here on out. I really dont need all of the other subplots.
Who is Leonard?I guess Mags believes "Spare the rod, spoil the child".
The problem with the younger Bennetts is (like so many "2nd generation despots") they have always been "on top" and don't know the struggle it took to get there, and the real limits of their "scope".
2 Classic Leonard lines -- the "Hillbilly Whisperer" and "To survive in this business you have to know your ABC's --Always Be Cool"
Elmore Leonard. He is a writer.Who is Leonard?
Anyone else think of Roadhouse when they heard that? (Specifically the Be Cool part)2 Classic Leonard lines -- the "Hillbilly Whisperer" and "To survive in this business you have to know your ABC's --Always Be Cool"
Well I guess that's better than getting turned on by a 14 yr old's dialogue. That's how the other guy got in trouble.i was a little turned off by the 14 yr old's dialogue...
sign of a good show...get to the end and say "is it over already?"
But she looked 16.Well I guess that's better than getting turned on by a 14 yr old's dialogue. That's how the other guy got in trouble.
Remember, this is Kentucky. She'd normally be married by now.i was a little turned off by the 14 yr old's dialogue...
sign of a good show...get to the end and say "is it over already?"
FYP.Remember, this is Kentucky. She'd normally be married by now, if she had an available cousin.
Fastest hour on TV. Southland is a close second.
I'm watching that very touching scene at the end with Raylan and Loretta thinking she's talking just like Boyd. I don't think that's a good thing. It's like the writer forgot he was writing for a 14 year old girl. Then Loretta started talking like Raylan.
I disagree. Can't have too much Boyd Crowder. The actress who plays Mags is very strong. Ive enjoyed her in everything she's been in. I think they need to just focus on Raylin and Mags from here on out. I really dont need all of the other subplots.
Makes you wonder how Dickie got that limp, huh?...
As stupid as Dickie and Coover are, I'm surprised they have any intact bones left in their body.
