Just Cook This...with Sam the cooking guy :up: :up: :up:

Has anyone seen this new show on Discovery Health channel? It's a cooking show by a regular guy (not a chef) who demonstrates simple recipes in his home kitchen with a lot of humor thrown in. Unlike other cooking shows that are just interesting to watch, I really want to get into the kitchen and cook after watching this show. I'm going to try his Shrimp Tacos this weekend.

Now some might find his style a little annoying. After a couple of minutes I didn't think I would want to watch the whole show, but he managed to pull me in and now I have a season pass. It's good stuff. Give it a try - Thursday nights on Discovery Health.

New show

Those of us in San Diego have been lucky enough to have Sam on the local community access channel for the last couple of years. He's great. Very down to earth, and I love his stuff.

He has some great recipes, even if you find him annoying at times. (I don't find him annoying, btw).

Glad to see him make it to Discovery Health. I'm recording this every week, and enjoying the new recipes he has. Love to see that he didn't change the format - that's really his kitchen and that was really his wife. His kids and his dogs will probably make it onto the show at some point, too.
