For about a week my Tivo Mini does a jingle (or chime or whatever) at the precise moment I should press Skip.

This does not happen in the main Tivo systems so I am posting in Tivo Mini but I assume the jingle feature will migrate to other systems too.

What does Tivo call the jingle feature? Is there any way of knowing when it will be available in systems it is not yet in? Most of you know this but the Skip Feature worked in Tivo Minis for months before it was available in other Tivos.

When viewing a program with DD there are no sound effects. Something to do with $$$. When the TiVo is set to PCM, or the TV doesn't support DD, you get that jingle.

I have not had the opportunity to confirm that answers the question but I will assume it does.

Except if this is not new then it does not explain why it recently began working in my Mini.

Also, it would have helped if you said Tivo audio set to DD or PCM. Your abbreviations are helpful but I did not see the link until after I searched. I think just including audio would have been enough for me to know where to look.
