The courtship wouldn't have been rocky at all had the cable card pairing process been automated from start to finish. Come on Comcast how difficult can it be for a computer at your head end to pair the cards with no human intervention? I'm hoping they've answered that question with a "not at all difficult" by the time I get my S4.

TiVo is rock stable and records everything asked without missing something cause it has a a migraine.
You can spend all evening with a TIVo and never have it talk back or interrupt the show you are watching without asking first.
TiVo will pause for you.
TiVo will remind you that you might need an extra hour to watch the game
TiVo will only suggest something it knows you are interested in watching
When you turn the TV off TiVo just works quietly in the background with only a little light to let you know it is on the job
