I received this email today from TiVo. It appears we have a new logo and design on the infamous TiVo Guy!

You can see it in the header, when viewed live it's animated with the eyes moving around, and you can also see the new logo in the picture of the dongle even on the remote's silver TiVo button!

Not sure I like it better than the original. I wish they'd just bring that logo and the cool animations back actually.

I am sure the marketing department, using input from focus groups, decided that this was the one. I can almost hear the pitch ("It hearkens back to our (tivo guy) origins while appearing clean and modern"). And while I am not impressed, I understand such things are a matter of taste, and apparently at least a few people like it.

Looks like they merged the Tivo and Android logos for the Android powered Stream 4k.

Not sure who's 3rd grader they got to draw that but it looks terrible! It actually looks more amateurish than the original. And they got rid of the original because the anthropomorphic design made it harder to protect via trademark. If they wanted a cute mascot again they should have just reverted to the original.

Ummm....a version I'm not at liberty to say... Haha. I have them disabled on all my boxes but one. Probably assumed they all looked like that.

I just came across the new logo on the mobile YouTube app just now my first reaction being "what the heck?!? Time to check the forums, as someone will have brought this up".
