Is this a CableCard issue?

I have an S3 with no modifications (haven't gotten around to adding an external drive) that started behaving strangely last night.

I have Verizon FIOS and have had everything working fine for about 4-5 mos now. I noticed last night that I was able to view only local channels. I was able to view both HD and non-HD versions of local channels but all other channels (HD or non-HD) were blank. It was late so I just let it be and figured I would restart the box in the morning if it was still like that...

The problem was still there in the morning and magically 'healed' itself sometime in the afternoon. However, just now, the same behavior happened again. I restarted the box this time and it appears everything is working fine...

Should I be worried?

It sounds like some kind of authorization issue with the cablecards. When you have the problem, you can go into Messages and Setup->settings->cablecards and check the authorization and other values. This way you'll know it is the cards/headend authorization and can contact verizon about it.

Since it fixed "itself", my guess is it is a problem on verizon's end sending the auth to the cablecards.
