I got this from Plex today and I can't think of an older app than what is on out TiVo's. I have been curious when they would update - but now I am starting to think it is just going to die.

Not supported doesn't mean it won't work but there's no guarantee how long it will continue.

I use Plex on my 8 month old LG. I hope that's not considered "older". Edit: shoulda read the link, I'm fine.

It will stop working because TiVo has stopped building their base and working with OTT providers.

You think Plex will be the last provider to decide Tivo isn't worth the trouble?

I haven't used the Plex app or any app on Tivo or my Smart TV for years. They are just too dang slow and cumbersome. I only use it on my Amazon Fire Stick. I won't miss it if it leaves Tivo.

Good on my Roamio Plus. Dead on all v1 minis. Why can't TiVo make their TiVo Stream 4K talk to their DVRs. It would make my next step so much easier.

It's a collection of apps. It was called Opera. See Vewd App Store: The Leading TV App Store for Smart TV and STBs

I use it on my Roamio for AccuWeather.

Still working on my Bolts as well. But with my higher bitrate files, it chokes my PC with transcoding, where my AppleTV plex app can stream the files natively.
