Is it possible? EyeTV Hybrid to TiVo

It's pretty easy, assuming you have a Series 2 Tivo. I've been doing it fairly often. First you need to install Tivo Desktop 1.9.3 and then enable the TivoComeBack feature. The easiest way to do that is search for VisualHub and use their enabler. Once you have that working, simply export from EyeTV as an MPEG2 file and put it into the TivoShows folder. Make sure you export the MPEG2 with the parameters outlined here: http://customersupport.tivo.com/LaunchContent.aspx?CID=4012D160-79C3-4238-96C8-A27B323D1413 or you can run it through VisualHub using the Tivo profile.

You should be able to do this by turning on the hidden video sharing option in TiVo Desktop for Mac, instructions for which can be found by searching the forums here (although VisualHub includes an app that will enable it for you.) This assumes you have a Series 2 TiVo and not a Series 3/TiVoHD/DirecTV combo unit (only the Series 2 supports TiVoToGo/TiVoToComeBack).

For ATSC signals, they'd need to be reencoded as SD. VisualHub is an option, there are many more. For SD signals, I don't know what codec the EyeTV hybrid uses; if it can do MPEG-2, then what it records will probably just work (I know my EyeTV 200 does.) If not, that will also need reencoding.

You could also go the pyTiVo or TiVo.NET route (video servers that transcode on the fly from multiple formats); search the forums here for instructions.
