I have tried to do this but do not see where to go on their website to do it. Could you point me in the right direction?cramer said:A friend of mine recently reactivated a Sony SAT-B2... made in 1996. All the CSR's care about is the Receiver and Card IDs -- the two fields on their screen they have to fill in.
I'd recommend adding it online instead of by phone, but that's just me.

Thanks!
I was just looking at this as well, as, you're right, I'd prefer to not have to deal with a CSR to do it.Marino13 said:I have tried to do this but do not see where to go on their website to do it. Could you point me in the right direction?

They activated my first-gen RCA box a while back, even though it was 10 years old. Took some doing as the CSR had never dealt with one before. See no reason why they wouldn't reup your HD10-250. I use my HDVR2 for Sling.joelq said:Hi all - I'm thinking of getting a Slingbox and dedicating my unused HR10-250 to it. Does anyone know if DirecTV will still activate this receiver for me?
